Puppy Contract

Before reading our contract, please know it is very long and quite detailed. The purpose is not just to protect us, the breeder, or you, the buyer, but above all else, to protect the puppy. As always, if you have any questions we may answer for you, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Here are a couple of examples where our contract has helped our puppies:
- One of our puppy families was no long financially able to care for the puppy they had purchased, our contract allowed us the ability to regain ownership of the puppy for placement with another family.
- In another instance, our contract helped one of our puppy families pay for corrective surgery for a minor eyelid disorder discovered in their puppy around 1 year of age.
- In a devastating turn of events, one of our puppies was removed from his home and held by animal control after his owner passed away from COVID-19. Our contract helped reunite puppy with us before he was unknowingly adopted out to a new family.
As you can see, we are always happy to standby our puppy families and proud back our puppies. Our contract helps us do both.

Puppy Placement Fee
Another frequently asked question is, "How much do you place your puppies for?"
We place our puppies with pet families, regardless of nose colour, gender, or ridge for $2,500. These are puppies that have no conformation (show) expectations/obligations or breeding rights (bitches are required to be spayed between 12 months of age or 4-6 weeks after resolution of their first estrus cycle, dogs are required to be castrated between 12 and 18 months of age).
Other considerations are made for puppies being place in conformation (show) homes and for those families who have earned an AKC Championship title (conformation, obedience or agility) with a previous Luvakis dog. Please click here for more information about our titling program.
All puppies, regardless of show/pet placement, will have AKC registration and HomeAgain microchip registration completed prior to their departure from our home; we cover both these expenses for our puppies and their new families.
