Luvakis Canine Good Citizens
& the RRCUS Canine Good Citizen Achievement Program
The AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificate may be earned by dogs who pass a test of 10 items, demonstrating that the dog has been trained to have basic good manners among people and other dogs.
For dogs who have earned their CGC title, AKC also offers certification testing for Canine Good Citizen Urban and Canine Good Citizen Advanced (aka Community Canine).
The Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United States awards breeders who strive to promote the importance of temperament and training within the breed through its RRCUS CGC Achievement Program. This program is designed "to reward breeders who take an active approach to educating and encouraging their puppy owners to earn the CGC titles on their Ridgebacks."
To date, Luvakis dogs have earned over 30 CGC, CGCA (Community Canine), and CGCU (Canine Good Citizen Urban) certificates! Teresa has been awarded Bronze, Silver, and Gold RRCUS medallions through the RRCUS CGC Achievement Program.
